Sota Sola

A play addressing the importance of giving value to the small, day to day things

The main character of our story lives and works underground. He has created a world where he enjoys his occupation as a shoemaker and is happy with small, day to day tasks. His special way of fixing shoes causes a change in the people who wear them; his passion and dedication will cause a transformation in the world we live in. But, things aren’t always easy and on a sudden something will change his daily life.

About the company

Ka Teatre is a young company created by Maria Berenguer and Montse Pelfort in 2017. In December of that same year, they debuted at Teatre de l'Aurora with their first show, 'Kàtia', created in conjunction with Teatre Nu. Winner of the Xarxa Alcover Mostra Igualada 2018 award and with more than a hundred gigs, 'Kàtia' continues on tour in our country. 'Sota Sola' is the name of their second show, where they continue playing and investigating with visual theatre, objects, puppets, projections and music.
