Éter, a dance show about the air.

Ether is a performance about the air that invites both young and old to enter a dreamlike world through the language of dance. Air is the protagonist of this visual performance, the element we will explore both literally and symbolically, taking us to unexpected places. It is a show of sensations, emotions, and discovery. This piece is made with care, love, and deep commitment to the audience.

About the company

Silver Drops Dansa is a project aimed at bringing contemporary dance closer to schools, families, and cultural venues. It was born at CC Barceloneta, where the show Silver Drops premiered—a performance about water that was very well received in the field of performing arts for family audiences. It quickly became part of the Anem al Teatre program by the Diputació de Barcelona and the AC school program. It has been featured in theater schedules across Catalonia and at festivals such as Càdiz en Danza, Festival Barruguet in Ibiza, Centro Ágora in A Coruña, El Petit, and the Teatre Principal in Maó. The second show, Terra, was co-produced and hosted in residence by El Petit Festival and Teatre La Sala. It was selected as one of the emerging projects co-produced by La Mostra d’Igualada and premiered at the festival in 2021. It has been recommended by the Programa.cat platform and was nominated for the Premis Teatre Barcelona as Best Family Show. It is part of the Anem al Teatre program by the Diputació de Barcelona and has been included in the Barcelona Districte Cultural circuit. It has been performed in theaters across and beyond Catalonia, including the Théâtre des Aspres in Thuir, among others. Terra also features an educational project parallel to the show, offering movement and contemporary dance workshops for schools and families.
