A unique dance piece, awarded with the Premi Dansacat at Best Show 2024

‘Navaja’ presents a scenic self-portrait on sex-affective poetics in self-learning dictated by the algorithm in SADCUM adolescence. Five characters called LOINKS embark on a (non)journey framed in an abandoned half-programmed demo.

About the company

Dance project born in 2019 in Barcelona by Guillem Jiménez. They have made two small-format pieces: ‘The Uncanny Valley’ (2019) and ‘The lesson’ (2020); two large-format pieces ‘Aclucalls’ (2022) and ‘Navaja’ (2024); the exhibitions Classmates (2020) and Twink Twink Twink (2022); as well as collaborating with institutions for curatorial activities and programs. The works have been seen in spaces such as: Teatros del Canal, CCCB, Paral·lel 62, Tanečno Festival, Teatro Réplika, Danza Valencia, La Mutant, MAC Festival, La Capella, Castle of Montjuïc, Guggenheim Museum, among many others.
