An anthem to interculturality

African songs will take us on a journey until we reach the village of Tum Tum Ka, where we will discover the story of friendship between two women: Amani and Lali. We will learn more about their cultures and it will be in the middle of the Savannah, where some very peculiar animals will accompany them until the moment of the birth of Amani’s daughter, who in honor of her land will be called: Africa.

About the company

La Romancera Teatre was born as a space for the creation of theatrical shows where stories and music are linked in a very close way. After a long career, its director, Maria Santallusia, is branching out into her own label. ‘M.A.R.E.’ (2022), dedicated to early childhood, was the company’s first show. The new proposal, Africa, arrives on stage in 2025.
