L'anorak

Immerse yourself in the touching story of Akaki, a tireless worker who strives relentlessly to obtain a coat that will provide him with the warmth and dignity he yearns for this winter.

It’s hard to live here, in the city of Akaki, without a good winter coat. Akaki had one… well, he had one that was really nice. A top-notch coat, but over time it’s grown old and worn out. Akaki needs a new one, but he’s not sure if he can afford it. A new coat costs a lot of money, and he has many bills to pay… and that’s despite working! At work, he puts his heart and soul into it, does as much as he can, and tries not to cause problems, but even so, it’s not enough. Despite working, he just doesn’t make ends meet. And so begins Akaki’s journey to find money. Money that, in turn, he will use to buy a coat that will let him get through the winter in peace.

About the company

Íntims Produccions is a company that has been working since 2012 on the creation of contemporary theater performances. We have been part of the support program for creation at Fira Tàrrega on multiple occasions and also resident company at Sala Beckett and Teatre Lliure. Anorak is our first theater performance for all audiences.
