Culture and education

How can we better connect culture and education? In this gathering, we will explore international and local experiences that have fostered cultural projects in the educational field.

Through a session featuring an initial introduction to the current state of cultural projects linked to education, a round table discussion, and an open debate with the audience to discuss models, challenges, and best practices. A space for reflection will be provided to rethink schedules, durations, and methodologies, with mediation as a key element.

The session will be led and moderated by Cristina Alonso from Teatre l’Artesà del Prat, with the guidance of the Directorate of the Program for the Improvement of the Presence of Arts and Culture in Education.

With the participation of Jose Antonio Portillo (artist), Núria Ramon (teacher at Escola Dolors Martí in Igualada and former Deputy Director and Head of the School Planning and Coordination Area), and Sergi Díaz (Director of the Program for the Improvement of the Presence of Arts and Culture in Education).
